Day One
We’ll start as we mean to go on and sort out your topic, key messages and course structure. You’ll put together your lesson slides and be ready for filming!
Day Two
Filming day! You’ll spend some 1:1 time with me filming your intro, outro and promo videos, before spending the rest of your day recording your audio.
Day Three
Today we edit your lessons, and start the process of uploading your course to your preferred platform. We’ll plug in the important information like pricing too.
Day Four
Today we write your sales page and your launch plan. You will leave with a course ready for sales and a plan for getting them!

Equipment
You only need to bring a laptop and a microphone – preferably a separate mic to your laptop, but if you only have the built in one that’s absolutely fine.
If you want to buy one, I recommend either the Snowball or Blue from Yeti. If you have a webcam, bring that too just in case (you could use the mic from that if it has one).
We will be planning for you to record audio over slides only except in the Intro, Outro and Promo videos, which I will record and edit for you, so make sure you bring an outfit you want to use for this purpose!
I will supply the filming equipment we need including camera, lapel mic, background, lighting.
The hotel has free secured WIFI, so you should be able to securely access any files or services you need.
Make sure you have access to enough storage space for your files – either in the cloud or on your computer. Allow around 2GB.
If you don’t already have access to a video recording and editing programme, you will need to get one prior to Bootcamp. For a budget-friendly option, try Screencast-o-matic at $48 / year. For a more serious contender, try Camtasia from Techsmith for PCs or Screenflow for Macs. You don’t need to know how to film and edit before we start, I will teach you as needed.
Logistics
The Bootcamp is supplied as an ‘almost-all-inclusive’ experience: I will cover dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch, plus teas/coffees/biscuits, you pay for your travel to and from the venue and any drinks with your evening meals.
Bournemouth is very easy to reach by road, rail or air. The hotel has free parking and it is right by the seafront within very easy walking distance of the beach and the town centre. If travelling by rail, a taxi from the station will take five minutes maximum.
Your accommodation is available from Sunday afternoon check in until Thursday morning checkout.
Dinner, breakfast and lunch will all be supplied from Sunday evening until Thursday lunchtime inclusive.
Accommodation is as single in double occupancy, which may be in a twin or double bedroom. Should you request and be granted an upgrade to your room, any additional costs charged will be your responsibility.
Any dietary requirements such as allergies or vegetarian / vegan options can be catered for as long as we know in advance! Please make sure you let me know as soon as possible.
Should you wish to stay on beyond the Bootcamp dates paid for or bring your partner/other family members with you, this can be arranged and will be at your expense. Please note that no partners or family members can attend the Bootcamp training without paying for a place.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I pay the deposit but then can't pay the balance or can't make the dates?
Your deposit is non-refundable, but you can defer your place to the next round of the Bootcamp (11-14 Nov 2024).
Can I just do the Sales and Marketing day?
If you have previously attended a Bootcamp, then yes. If you haven’t then no – this is because the day specifically needs you to have been through the Bootcamp methodology to have what you need already prepared for the day to work.
Is this just for newbies?
Not at all! This works whether you have never created an online course or have already created hundreds. You will still get massive benefit from going through the Bootcamp experience (as evidenced by previous Bootcampers coming along to repeat the experience!).
Is this really possible in just four days?
I have twice created an online course (with people watching) in just a single day using this methodology, so I know it’s the quickest way to get it done.
You get the luxury of 4 days, with me guiding you through!
